About Online Training
Our online training courses are held using Microsoft Teams. Each day includes:
- Online presentation lasting 3-3:30 hours
- 2-3 hours to, on your own, complete exercises related to the presentations
- 20-30 minutes of one-on-one time with the tutor.
About Face-To-Face Training
The in-person training is held in Stockholm and varies from 3-4 days depending on the course.
This training is very popular. Our skilled tutors give you the best possible training and you also get the chance to network with risk engineers from all around the world.
We also offer training tailored to your needs regarding RiskSpectrum products and also the methodologies used. The in-person training can also be held at a venue of your choosing.

RiskSpectrum PSA
Course 1: Fault tree and event tree analysis | 5 days online, 4 days in person
The objective of this training course is to provide you with a working knowledge of RiskSpectrum PSA. After following this course, you will be able to build, manage and run fault tree and event tree analysis for risk and reliability analysis. You will understand the underlying methods, interpret the results and use the most advanced features of fault tree and event tree analysis.
Course 2: RiskSpectrum PSA Modules | 4 days online, 2 days in person
RiskSpectrum PSA includes several modules that we have developed over the years to enhance and facilitate the use of RiskSpectrum PSA. This course includes presentations and exercises aimed at giving you an understanding of when the modules can be used and for what purpose.
Course 3: Advanced modeling and Analysis | 4 days online and in person
Course 3 is the final step in the RiskSpectrum PSA training program and will give you a complete understanding of the functionality and algorithms used in the software. Additional time has been allocated for discussions and you are encouraged to send questions ahead of time so that these can be addressed by the tutor during the course.

RiskSpectrum HRA
RiskSpectrum HRA Training: Human Reliability Analysis | 3 days online, 2 days in person
The purpose of the RiskSpectrum HRA training course is to give the participants an overview of human reliability analysis (HRA), how to do HRA in RiskSpectrum HRA and how to apply it to RiskSpectrum PSA. The course is tailored mainly for HRA in the context of Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) for the nuclear power industry but is also applicable for HRA in other industries, e.g. process, transportation, and Oil & Gas industry, etc.

RiskSpectrum RiskWatcher
RiskWatcher Training: Risk monitor training | 3 -5 days
This course can be split in two parts: How to prepare the PSA model for use in RiskWatcher (3 days) and how use RiskWatcher for monitoring and managing risks (2 days).

RiskSpectrum ModelBuilder
RiskSpectrum ModelBuilder Training: | 4 days online, 3 days in person
The purpose of the RiskSpectrum ModelBuilder training course is to give the participants an overview of RiskSpectrum ModelBuilder, how to use it – especially in the context of nuclear PSA models, and how to define the so called knowledge bases.

RiskSpectrum PSA Refresher Courses
The objective of these courses is to help you getting started using new features and functionalities as well as refresh your knowledge of RiskSpectrum PSA
Quantification: one day online, 5 hours
This course is for the experienced user who needs a refresher related to quantification settings, post-processing, using MCS editor for comparing results, etc.
Maintenance Modules - How to use?: One day, 5 hours
CutSetTracer, Model Compare and MCS BDD are 3 fantastic tools we have added in recent years. This course will help you get started quickly and teach you the details you might not know about them
New Features: One day, 5 hours
We know that many of you have not been able to keep up with all the new features added in recent years. Here is your chance to catch up! You will learn how to use Conditional Quantification, Mutually Exclusive Events, Basic Event-Basic Event relations, Multi-dimensional BCSets and MCS Analysis Case results as input.
